Looking for a Place to Rest (Open) « Thread Started on Feb 19, 2009, 4:52pm »
Lea walked slowly around, spining a pencil around her finger idly as she did. A small breath taken in was exhaled as a small sigh of discontent. Lea was tired, more then that, she was totally exhausted, "Damn... I need sleep..." She muttered under her breath with a few other meaningless grumbles. The wind played around her as she stopped walking and just ploped down underneath a tree.
The demon woman blinked as her stomach groaned. Looking down at it she thought she saw it shake with the noise as well. A laugh escaped her as she hefted her back to her lap and went in search of something to munch on in it.
Once she had eaten her small energy bar she leaned back against the tree, tugging the hood of her white hoodie over her eyes to sheild them from the afternoon sun. "Ahh, this is perfect. Nothing better then laying under a tree on a warm day to relax after a long travel." She said with another laugh, then she let herself drift into her thoughts, mainly on how to get some income to rent an apartment.

Lapis, the 'King of Rogues' turned business man was walking along the paths. He had recently bought up a few businesses near by and was exploring the area around them for ideas on how to boost profits of these newly bought investments.
He wore a black italian grade suit and a few pieces of white gold jewelery, including a watch ring and necklace. His fasion had long since changed from when he lived in the desert, now he was more formal and all of the seal on his body were covered by clothing. He no longer wore a scarf, but nothing could change the fact that his skin was black and that he had to black horns protruding from his forhead.
He was walking until he found a bench and decided to sit back for a moment. As he sat he spotted a girl by a tree, she had an odd aura unlike any he had ever felt before.

Lea felt another near by, his scent was on the wind as it blew around her. The wind was nver still around her and sometimes it annoyed her. "Oi... who's watching me...?" She asked as she shifted some in her position, pulling her hood up to where she saw some, but not alot. The demon woman was the man and tilted her head at his wordrobe. She looked at him for another long moment before blinking and looking way. Her sitting there staring at him must have made her seem like a retard.
Lea looked over herself quickly, her wind tousled hair was in her face, shining in the sun as she tried to hide her eyes, they told everything about her and she didn't like it. Nor did she like being caught in the middle of a moment when she looked horrible, in her hoddie and a pair of ratty jeans.

Lapis was intrigued by this girl's aura, it smelled of demon and yet was not like his. After all how could it be, he was a hell demon and nothing could change the strong dark aura he gave off.
He stood up and walked over to her and looked her over shortly. "You aren't human, I can sense it" he said plainly looking her in her eyes.

Lea nodded slowly, but quickly changed that to a shake, "I'm not." He had entered her ring of circulating air, his hair would be tousling gently in the current, that seemed to always go clockwise around her. Lea looked away form him once she relased they were looking into each others eyes, her momories flashed over her eyes, it was an odd thing that she never understood, and it wasn't an ability she liked to pocess, so she tried to hide it as well as she could. The demon flicked her hand into the air, the breeze around her shifted a bit, making a smaller circle so he wasn't bothered by his hair being moved about.

"What are you then?" he asked as pulled out a card from the inside of his suit jacket. He held it out to her, it being his business card. Since he had no known last name it simply red 'Lapis Business Executive and Entrepenuer' as well as a few phone numbers.

Lea took the card slowly, glancing up at him, "I'm a demon.. of the wind." She said softly as she looked over the card, then looked up at him with a small smile. "And what are you? You dno't have a scent like the humans around here do." she said and took a wiff of him again. "Yup, definitly not human." She said with a small giggle as she watched him from her spot on the ground.

"I'm a demon from the depths of hell itself" he said as he sat on a bench next to the tree. "You don't look very well kept for a wind demon." he stated calmly, "I've met a few before and they were very well kept and very strong."

Lea shakes her head, "No, I do not strive to be well up kept, I prefer to wear simple clothing, so that I may pass through the world without being noticed much. I am a traveler." She grins some as she stuffs a hand into her bag, pulling out a small jade elephant and a pouch that looked hand crafted. "I have these to prove it!" Lea moved her free hand to move her hair a bit, her wind tending to speed up for a few moments.
"And about the strong thing, I do not fight. I am strong of mind," she places her treasures on the ground and toyed with the elephant, "My parents were rithlessly toyrn apart, by mean demons is what I guess, that's why I choose not to use my abilities to fight tor harm people. I use it for art." Someimes it was odd how the girl could just open up as she did at this point in time.
